The Buckeye September Showdown is proudly hosted by Cincinnati United SC ('CUP') and Tournament Guru Events. The event is played on the synthetic turf & high quality grass fields of the Warren County Sports Park.
Formerly know as the 'Bradford Cup' this rebranded event brings together dozens of the top youth soccer clubs from across Ohio and the surrounding states for a high-level, early-season showdown.
The event will offer Gold, Silver, and Bronze level competition at most age groups. Last year registration was forced to close early due to high demand. This USYS sanctioned event will be run using the GotSport registration and scheduling software.
All teams are guaranteed 3 group stage games.
1st and 2nd place teams will advance to a championship final in U15 and younger age groups. Given the early season nature of the event, and with player's safety and development in mind, U16-U19 teams will play in a 3 game only format.

Located just outside of Cincinnati, the Warren County Sports Park is one of the Midwest's premier destinations for competitive youth soccer. The park is know as 'Ohio's largest playground' and was purpose-built specifically for tournament play. The facility offers a first class experience for players, coaches, and families alike.
With 16 full-size fields (4 synthetic turf & 12 natural grass), ample parking, professional grade maintenance, and centralized amenities, the complex provides the perfect stage for high level competition across all age groups. The park highlights 128 acres in a 'wing shape' including a playground, concessions, and pet friendly walking trails.
The park is surrounded by family-friendly attractions, hotels, and restaurants.
This event is open to all competitive BOYS AND GIRLS teams with current USYS or US Club certification. USSSA and AYSO competitive teams are also eligible with additional documentation required.
U8-U10 will play 7v7, U11-U12 will play 9v9, and U13+ will play 11v11. Gold, Silver, and Bronze divisions will be offered depending on availability and demand. All teams will play a 3 match schedule, with championship final for 1st and 2nd place teams at all age groups.
7v7 = 25 minute halves
9v9 = 30 minute halves
U13-15 = 30 minute halves
This event is a Stay to Play event. All teams attending from beyond 90 miles away are required to make their hotel accommodations through the approved housing provider using the 'HOUSING' button above.

WEATHER POLICIES
As with any outdoor sporting event, weather is always an item of great concern. Our weather guidelines are aligned with those suggested/used by USSF and ISA. All games will be played on synthetic turf, and high quality grass fields which allows us to play even through heavy rain. However, game stoppage can occur due to hazardous conditions such as lightning or temperature levels. Weather updates / adjustments will be sent via email/text messages through your GotSoccer account.
Adjustments made to games due to weather are at the discretion of the tournament committee (comprised of Tournament Director, Event Executive Staff, and Young Athlete Center's ATC staff). It is our intention to provide a fun, playable, safe environment for all teams participating to get the competition they have come in search of.
• Games could be delayed or shortened.
• Games played until/beyond halftime can be considered final at the moment stopped if necessary.
Should temperatures exceed 93 degrees Fahrenheit, matches may be halted or shortened in accordance with USSF guidelines. All matches will have a mandatory water break during each period of play. The water break will be 3 minutes long and the match clock will run during the break.
• U14 and younger divisions, adjustments/cancellations will be made when expected game time temperature is 18 degrees cold index with windchill or 106 degrees heat index. For games played in U15 and older divisions, adjustments/cancellations will be made when expected game time temperature is 14 degrees cold index with windchill or 106 degrees heat index.
• Any additional changes to the schedule deemed necessary by the Tournament Committee will be exercised with as much notice as possible for all teams involved.
